The trunking capability (of DMR) allows our users to hit push-to-talk no matter where they are in our system… We also have 14 distribution co-ops that use our radio system – so when mutual aid is required we can communicate with each other. But on a normal day-to-day basis everyone operates individually and doesn’t hear everyone else’s traffic.
